My wife swears the only reason Oscar was made was so Stallone could see his name and Oscar on the same marquee

I actually posted here to say that I saw CopLand yesterday where he plays a dumbass and he was very convincing. Opinion unchanged. He’s a moron.
I vote for Judge Dredd, and I also want to point out that I didn’t see that movie of my own free will. I was at a friend’s house, it was on, I didn’t want to be rude and demand we watch something that wouldn’t suck. We had fun picking out the derivative elements.
I own a laserdisc of Judge Dredd.

Oh, Sly Stallone…
Stallone himself is not a particularly stupid person.
Rocky is a fantastic film and he did a great job in writing that one. It is too bad that he allowed it to be stained by the sequals. First Blood is also a movie stained by the sequals.
For the type of movie they are, Demolition Man, Cliffhanger, and Assassins were good.
I would say that Over the Top is his worst drama. Stop, or My Mom Will Shoot! his worst comedy (much worse Oscar which was just flat) and Cobra or Daylight would tie for worst action movies.
Good lord! I looked up Stallone’s IMDB profile, and I find that he’s starring in a film adaptation of Dolan’s Cadillac, based on the Stephen King story. This is NOT good…
Anyway, my vote goes to Rhinestone.
Git to be Cobra. I haven’t seen all of them, but I can’t help but think…or pray…that there are physical laws in the universe that would forbid a worse movie.
On the other hand, the best two would be Rocky and Bananas.

OVER THE TOP is pretty damn bad. A movie that expensive should have looked better than a direct-to-video cheapie.

The only thing that concerns me with the thread (in particular, the thread’s title), is that by using the title “Stallone’s Worst Movie” kind of implies that out there, somewhere, is Stallone’s best movie. <shudder>
