Would I enjoy the Dixie Chicks?

I have to admit that I wonder what cmkeller’s reaction will be to “Goodbye Earl”

I’ll let you know after I’ve heard it. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!

I think Hightone might be the same company that produces the Derailers. Does anyone else like the Derailers? </hijack>

Hightone is a great record label! Any label that gives a guy like Dale Watson his start is allright in my book!

According to their website, the Derailers are out on Sony Nashville. I think they’re a pretty good band. At first I thought they sounded a tad cornball, but the more I hear of them the more they sound like a solid band with a retro sound. And I will agree that Hightone is a great label, along with Bloodshot and Ark 21. Buddy & Julie Miller and Big Sandy & His Fly Rite Boys are some other good ones on Hightone.

“Goodbye Earl” is the Goose family’s official Vacation Theme Song. We have been through, not one but two, big family summer vacations, with the Dixie Chicks’ Fly just a-wailin’, and all of us singin’ along.

Loud.

Even the Better Half knows all the words by now.

The rest of the album is good, too. They can sing.

Fly.
‘Hello Mr. Heartache’ being my fave.
You’ll like 'em.

I despise Tim McGraw. No, wait, I envy him. Whatever.

I think Shania is mostly eye candy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

As far as the Dixie Chicks go, I like them a lot. The sisters do have some genuine instrumental talent, and they just seem…fun.
