female country music artists

I don’t like country music, period. I abhor it. But these country women are so damn fine looking, it’s almost enough to make me lose my mind and go completely country. Every time I am channel surfing and hit CMT when a hot country bumpkin lady is on, I screech to a halt and have to watch and, yes, listen.

Mmmmm, LeAnn Womack -(presently my favorite), Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Terri Clark, Dixie Chicks, shall I go on? droooooooooooool

Faith Hill: gone pop.
Shania Twain: gone pop.
LeAnn Womack: still country, although she had a pop hit.
Terri Clark: well, she’s still country.
Dixie Chicks: still country, I worship their fashion sense…

Bumpkins? no.

Yes, racinchikki, I know many of them have gone pop. Thanks for the info though. I would have loved to name more “real” country music gals, but unfortunately I don’t really keep up with names. Maybe I will start to.

BTW, racin’, What is your definition of a “bumpkin?” I always interpreted “bumpkin” to mean someone who was raised / lives in farming country, usu in the boonies.

I occasionally listen to country radio, but don’t watch it in TV.

So, my odd question: Is Suzy Bogguss as hot as she sounds?

MSK, to me a bumpkin is an ignorant country folk type of person, living out in the sticks and, well, ignorant.

furt, is Suzy Boggus hot? you decide.
