There is a guy in one of my classes, I am thinking of sending him emails from one of my accounts pretending to be an attractive girl in one of his classes (a class i’m not in) and trying to seduce him, maybe sending him pics from an IU girl just to screw with him. Is that likely to get me socially segregated when the truth comes out or is seducing men ‘in’ now?
I would say that it depends a lot on the type of person being targeted by the prank. Personally I’d probably be kind of pissed for a few days to a week, but then I’d get over it and eventually come to see the whole thing as kind of funny. But I don’t know what the social attitudes are like at IU.
If someone did that to me, and I beleived it for more than a second, I would have to be physically restrained from comitting and act of violence.
But I’m sensitive like that.
I strung a cousin of mine along for a few months with emails compliments of Lovemail.com. When “Darla” finally got up the nerve to send a picture, I searched the net for the ugliest female I could find. When he didn’t reply for a week, “Darla” offered to send some pictures of her nude if he didn’t reply soon. My cousin suddenly had other commitments and could not continue emailing “Darla”. At Christmas about 5 months later, I brought up the story about a friend of a friend of a friend named “Darla” that was committed to a mental hospital because she was dumped by some guy during an online romance. My cousin didn’t say it was him but he was strangely quiet the rest of the night.
Cruel? Yes. Did I think it was funny? Oh hell yes.
I feel kind of stupid having to ask this, but maybe I’m missing something. I am assuming that you, yourself, are male.

If it’s the latter, I would think a more straightforward approach would be a lot smarter and a lot safer.
