I’ve seen it and was one of approximately thirteen people that enjoyed it but I was envisioning something more realistic. I’d honestly be curious to see what the difference in the environments we were raised in had on each of us and would actually be pretty happy if he had made something out of himself even if I failed miserably since it would show that I’m not destined to be an omega.
And sorry that came off snarky; it wasn’t my intention. I just thought it was a rather odd question. Sure, I’d consider it briefly – I imagine most would – but it would be akin to taking out a life insurance policy on a dependent and didn’t realize I came across as a sociopath.
I understand some of what Riker means. If all these clones are out there, then my own status is possibly diminished. People would look at me and think, “Shit, it’s one of those Hypno-Clones.” I want them thinking, “AW SHIT! it’s Hypno-Toad!”
I might give DNA if I knew that there’d be no crossing of our paths and no chance of me being mistaken for them or vice versa. So I guess DNA for posthumous use is OK.
Actually, you might find your status increasing. In Schlock Mercenary, the webcomic I take my username from, one character duplicates himself 950 million times and becomes his own demographic. That can give you plenty of influence.
