Would you go to a game at the Amway Arena?

I was watching some sports tonight and I came across an Orlando Magic game being played at the Amway Arena . Like many people, I detest Amway. Seeing the signs for “Amway Arena” made me change the channel.

I don’t like naming rights in sports, but I’m able to leave these feelings outside of the game. Except for Amway.

I think most names for arenas and stadium are stupid and most companies which buy naming rights end up bankrupt. Enron Field, National Car Rental Center, Pro Player Stadium, or end up going through mergers. No more Fleet Center or Pac Bell Park.

Still, I truly despise multi level marketing. I don’t think I could go to an event at the Amway Arena.

I would be scared what would happen once I got in there. Could you buy just a popcorn or would you have to buy cases of it and have it shipped to your house? Is the soap in the restroom really just a demo? How long is the spiel at half time and what should you do if your friends run down to sign up?

Well, if my upline turns me on to the tickets, sure. But if I had to buy the tickets for my downline, then no.

I wouldn’t go to a game there. But if I can get ten other people to go…

would you go if it was called Alticor Arena, Dick and Jay arena, Van Andel Arena (its been done) or DeVos Arena? :stuck_out_tongue:
