Would you rather someone post a new thread on a topic that's been done before, or resurrect a zombie

I voted for zombie, but we need a qualifier. You only get to resurrect a zombie if you are asking the same question, or have new information to share. This freshly resurrected zombie seems to have been brought back to life for no apparent reason. A number of the main participants are no longer active, or are banned.

Being pro-resurrection is saying that you can talk more about “old” topics.

Always preferring new threads implies that you don’t have anything new to say.

I voted for zombies, but after reading Renee’s post I realized she summed up my feelings perfectly.

This is a resurrectionist argument:

Nobody has ever been able to articulate to me why I should care whether the same “old” posters are still around. The posted ideas remain; that’s what new comments are engaging.
