My doctor might recommend it. It’s proven impossible for me to achieve an average bodymass, I’ve been underweight for my height for the last 25 years (since I was 3). I’m healthy, and I lift weights to try to keep my bones strong, but I’m worried about bone loss and other possible side-effects if I can’t manage to get to a healthier weight as I continue to age.
I don’t know if I would, though. I could be taking HGH right now and it would probably get me into a normal BMI range (I am not too far away), but outside of the cost, I’m really hesitant.
I try not to be the beta tester for new medicines and medical techniques. I want something that’s PROVEN to work, not the latest miracle drug.
So if we’re positing a drug that increases muscle AND encourages weight loss with absolutely no side effects, yeah, I’m totally on board. Why not?
If it’s harmless, why not? Philosophically, my belief is that better is better. I’d be willing to take a pill that makes me stronger or smarter or healthier or better looking or more creative or able to cast 15th level spells.
No. I have no interest in muscle bulk.
