"Wow, I completely forgot (s)he was in this movie!"

Let’s not forget his turn as evil Manc ganglord “The Carpenter” {strictly speaking it should have been “The Cabinetmaker”, but I guess it doesn’t have that ring to it} in Gone In 60 Seconds.

Masterpiece indeed!

I was also surprised to recognize him in Top Gun. He actually has several speaking parts, but you don’t see him without an oxygen mask covering his face until the very end of the movie.

(Paul) Michael Glaser in The Fiddler on the Roof; Rita Tushingham in Dr Zhivago.

I was aware she was in it but it took a few viewings of This is Spinal Tap before I noticed Angelica Huston.

My favorite Naomi Watts movie is Tank Girl.

Did you catch Billy Crystal, though?

Oddly enough I spotted him right off the bat the first time I saw it.

Interestingly enough, that weirdo was played by Giovanni Ribisi. The first X-Files episode I ever saw and still on of my favorites.

Jack Black also had a role in The Neverending Story III as a bully. That was one of the first roles I saw him in, which made it hard for me to take him seriously later on.

One actress who made me forget she was in the film before it was even half over was Cameron Diaz in Being John Malkovich. The role is so different from her usual ones and she completely vanishes into it.

He was also in *Dead Man Walking * as one of Sean Penn’s brothers.
One I recently noticed while watching The Tailor of Panama: Daniel Radcliffe’s (Harry Potter) first movie role as Geoffrey Rush’s son.
