WTF are these nasties and why are they on my curtains?

Came home from work this evening and noticed something really gross on the curtains in my bedroom. Half a dozen 1/8 inch long brown worm-like creatures wriggling away. I got out the bug spray and sprayed them down, but I want to know what the hell these are.

They weren’t there when I left for work this afternoon, and they’re only on the curtains on one wall (lucky for me, the curtains that hang over my bed, although there aren’t any actually on my bed).

Guesses? It’s been raining almost all day, every day for the past week (extremely unusual for Florida this time of year) so I’m thinking maybe the rain drove them in? they look like little brown grains of rice, but skinnier.

Maggots or Silverfish maybe? Was anything spilled on the curtains that would make them enticing for an insect to lay eggs on them?

Maybe the rain/window condensation made the curtains damp, there was spaghetti sauce stain from weeks ago there, and a fly thought they’d make a nice little incubator for it’s eggs?

Didn’t look like maggots because they were a brownish color. I dunno what silverfish look like in the larval stage. And the curtains are clean, I washed them 2 months ago and I haven’t been throwing spaghetti sauce around.

It was so odd because they definitely appeared in a matter of a few hours.

Carpet weevils?

CMC fnord!

I was gonna say, “need a pic to help with the ID”.

Then I saw the pics in your link, and whether that’s the right ID or not, all I have to say now is
AAAAAAAAAAAAGGHH NOnononONONononONOnonoNO

Moth larvae? Seen them on clothes in a drawer once.
