WTF? Huntsman and Gingrich had a foreign policy debate yesterday??

I remember flipping around on TV and catching some grainy, Blair Witch-like footage of Huntsman and Gingrich debating foreign policy. I didn’t even know that was scheduled, and assumed it was some rehash of a debate from years ago so I didn’t pay any attention to it. But apparently it was a new debate.

Did anybody watch it? What was said? Apparently they debated for 3 hours. Why haven’t we heard anything about this??

Hour and a half. You didn’t hear anything about it because it was incredibly fucking boring.

But the winner ate the loser, right?

If the Oscars worked that way, I’d watch.

(Alright, I stole that from The West Wing. :stuck_out_tongue:

I assume because Huntman has not a flying fig’s chance in Hell of making an impact in the primaries, and everyone hates the sight of Newt.

Of course, the actual debate would have probably been very good, because those guys actually know what they’re talking about. I plan to look it up online soon.

After reading the thread title and before reading your post, I was thinking: Can Gingrich unhinge his jaw, and will we be treated to 20 minutes of slowly swallowing Huntsman?

Then I remembered that’s absurd. He’s a Newt, he just stuffs everything in at once.

I just watched this, online. There wasn’t much of a debate between them, but I enjoyed it. It’s good to hear people who are running for the president sound like they’re actually mindful of the real world and have strategies for dealing with them beyond catchphrases (Newt more-so, but of course he’s also sat on more congressional panels listening to experts on all topics than Huntsman).
