In other words, the IAFF did not lash out at the firefighters - they criticized the subscription policy that put the firefighters in the position of having to watch a home burn down.

The firemen are in danger when they have to go in and rescue somebody in a closed in condition of a trailer. Cranick, his wife and his grandson were outside enjoying the fire like you guys. The firemen did not have to enter, therefore it was not a dangerous burn for them.
