WTF? The US Capitol building has 50 floors?

Here’s a reference to:

from here: Contract Opportunities | SAM.gov

So maybe it’s S0 (letter-number), whatever that designation means.

I think there are two different designations. One is the designation for the elevator and another is a designation for the floor, which is the one displayed on the LED display.

floor ¿

don’t tell anybody.

It sounds like someone has discovered the location of Umbrella Corporation? And Washington, DC must actually be Raccoon City. Or not.

(Don’t believe this)
There’s separate elevators for each state, marked by their admission to the republic. He was just about to discuss something with Alaska.

Could there be a rear exit in the elevator that let’s people out on 1/2 floors? 4.5, 3.5, etc? I used to do work for a hotel that had something like that between certain floors where the cleaning staff and room service people got on and off.

Just sent an email to a friend of mine who worked for a senator for the last 12 years - I bet he knows what’s going on. My first guess was that the caption was just poorly worded, and the photo is just in one of the Senate office buildings - but those aren’t 50 floors either.

He thinks it’s actually “SB” for “sub-basement”. If it was “Senators Only”, the horizontal bar below that would scroll across with it spelled out.

So that’s what I posted as my first guess. Woo- hop!
