Strange. This seems to be some new definition of the word “brilliant” with which I was unfamiliar. See, in my language, brilliant means bright, shining, interesting, excellent. Apparently in yours, it means “lame, vaguely pathetic, somewhat offensive, juvenile and, frankly, just dumb”.
