Some politicians in Wyoming seem to think that the US and perhaps the world, are headed for a complete collapse and the state legislature should have a plan. One of the components that caught my eye was a fellow who will look into what conditions might warrant the purchase of an aircraft carrier. While I don’t know much about Wyoming I am pretty sure that the Platte River will not accommodate big ships.

Good for them. Every state should have such a plan in place, and should have had a plan in place since the beginning of the cold war, with it being constantly updated to take advantage of new tech, new discoveries, and changing political climates.
If they manage to make that lovely baby, they just might be forgiven for Dick Cheney.
In the case of Wyoming, they should just be deciding whether they want to be in Eastern California or Northern Texas.
