Bah, he forgot the…Leprechauns! They won’t be happy about that, will likely make him wear the Green Shoes…
I didn’t know there was a car called the Nissan March until today.
Man, I was really disappointed when Slav lost in the round of 32. I was rooting for it.
Are there particular marches associated with the instruments (and cannon) in the numbers given?
The lower-left bracket is taken entirely from 76 Trombones, a song from the musical The Music Man.
I was missing the one and only bass.
Why a sewing machine? Isn’t it supposed to be a breadbox?
He’s Randall Munroe, not Steve Allen
“Louder than a breadbox” isn’t very loud.
A breadbox is too quiet. It has to be something that makes noise for the horizontal axis.
One thing that’s not quite right is that some stuff that don’t make any noise at all are fairly close to the vertical center line: snow globe, book, statue. Windmills, OTOH, do make some noise, but are way to the left.
And the Northern Lights aren’t quite completely quiet, but they’re a lot quieter than windmills or even giraffes. And on the other side, tubas can be pretty loud, but cannons, trains, and waterfalls are generally louder. Unless it’s Japanese war tubas, but in that case they should be further down the Y axis.
And I don’t want to see the firecracker that’s larger than a baby.
The sizes are all screwy, babies are smaller than harmonicas newts and hats. Ants are larger and louder than mice. Trees are smaller than anacondas.
I still like it.
Mice are quiet? I think not.
My breadbox is purple with alternating green and yellow stripes.
It’s quite loud.
