I’ve only see this on the SDMB where “Christian” is shortened to “xtian” and “xtina” is used to refer to Christina Aguillera. What is the significance of this?
It comes from the Greek tradition of using the letter chi as an abbreviation for Christ since the first letter of *Christ * in Greek is chi. It’s also why Xmas is used as a shortening for Christmas.
And also, cause of her triple X image. Get it? XXXtina? They shorten it to just Xtina. But Aesiron’s explanation makes more sense.

And in case it wasn’t clear through inference, the Greek letter chi looks like English letter X.
