I’ve noticed that books in the UK are much higher than here in the US.
And I sell used books on the American Amazon.
Has any American sold books on Amazon.uk?
What extra problems are there?
Advice/opinions welcome.
Any & all input good.

I live in the UK.
I’ve bought books from America using ‘Amazon Marketplace’.
No problems.
Im from the UK have bought one or two books from Americans.
I dont know about any problems for the sellers, although as a buyer I have 2 wait “2-4 weeks” for delivery. So when I can plan ahead its fine, I get a good book quite cheap. Although when I need a new course textbook I cant wait 2- 4 weeks and have to scroll past all the cheap American books (sometimes over a page or different merchants) to buy from a british guy and pay £10 or £20 more
As long as you aren’t dropshipping, mention the fact you are US based, and do actually have the books in stock, I don’t see the problem.
Its interesting to see your post, as there is currently quite a campaign on the UK Amazon boards about it (ideally to get the US sellers banned or at least held to the same standard as UK sellers - e.g. a recent case of a US seller with negative feedback still allowed to trade caused a stir).
The reason for the resentment is that UK sellers are not allowed to list on the US sites, or sell books through them without special permission, and US sellers get cheaper rates and more facilities with their accounts. This is one of the reasons why the US books are cheaper - the UK sellers are effectively barred from one of the largest markets.
