Huge burning chunks of one of the towers fell on it, and it was left to burn until it collapsed. This isn’t controversial or complex.
It is if you keep asking the same questions over and over again until someone, anyone, tells you what you want to hear.

It breaks my heart to think people can’t just grieve and have to be subjected to people making crap up and posting drivel that just makes no damn sense. When their loved one is clearly dead from the horrific events caused by terrorists.

I’ve been hearing 9/11 ‘truthers’ for more than two decades, and they repeat the same hearsay ‘claims’, nonsense ‘logic’, and completely false assertions about how fires burn and skyscrapers collapse, and yet not one of them can explain how a conspiracy of this scale, requiring the participation of hundreds of people (at a minimum) could persist for over twenty years without a deathbed confession or someone drunkenly boasting about the biggest scam job in history when just a decade and a half previous some of the smartest guys in the intelligence community couldn’t manage an arms for hostages deal and illegally equipping and training some counterrevolutionary rebels in a banana republic that most people couldn’t find on a map into a total shitshow.
Thousands of people died on the day of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon (and yes, wreckage was found at both sites, just not in large pieces recognizable as an aircraft because planes are not tanks) and more on American Flight 93, and then thousands more first responders and military members send to fight tHe pointless ”War on Terror” due to toxic exposures, IEDs, and trauma-related suicide. Spinning out patently false conspiranoia dishonors the sacrifices of those who stepped up in a time of need and mocks the heartbreak of those who lost parents, children, brothers, sisters, and friends.
It’s fucking stupid, mean, and inane. @Biffster, unless you are coming in with some kind of novel, verifiable evidence or testimony of a credible conspirator, knock it the fuck off with the ‘just asking questions’ schtick, you shitburning moron.

Listen, asshole: if you have a problem with someone even asking QUESTIONS on the subject, then the issue is clearly with you, not me. WTC7 came down in about 10 seconds later the same day on 9/11. Check out the footage. I’m not suggesting a conspiracy; I’m saying that was pretty fucking weird. If you’re going to insult me some more, I suppose that’s your right. Fucking jerk.
Cite? The only footage I’ve seen is from the street, where it collapses into one neat footprint in about 10 seconds. Not typical for a 47 storey office tower.
Weird compared to what? How many uncontrolled skyscraper collapses have you observed in order to establish a baseline?

Only on video, prolly same as you. WTC7 was a block away from the other two, which had both collapsed about seven or so hours earlier. WTC7 had not been hit by a plane like the other two, although it was hit by some falling debris, but still it collapsed in a heap, all 47 storeys of it. I just find it hard to believe, and that’s my right. You can believe whatever you want. Only time I know of in history where a steel and concrete building collapsed like that. Please feel free to provide other examples if you know of any.

Right. It’s literally the only time in history that a building that size has collapsed under those circumstances. If you think it shouldn’t have looked like it did, when it is literally the only example in existence of how that thing should look, then your expectations are wrong, not reality.

Oh, for God’s sake. Let me make this very simple for you. If you don’t bother to take less than 60 seconds to read this, you really are JAQ-ing off. This is from the three-year NIST investigation.
• 7 World Trade Center was NOT a block away from the Twin Towers. It was about only 370 feet away.
•The debris that hit the building when the North Tower collapsed started several fires on the lower floors.
• There was very little water pressure because the city’s nearby water supply lines had been heavily damaged when each of the Twin Towers collapsed. The firefighters therefore had no choice but to let it burn.
•The building collapsed because the uncontrolled fires weakened an essential column. You can see the sequence at the link posted above.
•There were no fatalities in 7 WTC because the occupants, who’d had fire drills just days before, evacuated when the Twin Towers were hit.
•It finally collapsed at 5:20 PM, seven hours after it caught fire.
Perhaps. But the footage I’ve seen sure looked similar to what a controlled demolition looks like. Just saying. You’re right in that there are not a lot of comparitors to that day.
