"Yes, Bush Can" campaign comes out against President Bush. Call me a skeptic...

Apparently, this pro-Bush campaign has been pushed too far, and has flip-flopped around to support John Kerry.

Now, I believe it’s perfectly reasonable for an organization to officially change its stance, even dramatically, if the circumstances demand it, but I’m pretty skeptical about this one. The first thing to catch my eye is the logo, with seems to be a bad Photoshop of the common “Bush/Cheney 04” logo we’ve all seen on bumperstickers. Also, a lot of the arguments against Bush look like smarmy arguments that we’ve seen used against Bush for quite some time. Wouldn’t a campaign making such a huge change outline in detail why they’d make such a change?

Has anyone even heard of this campaign before?

I agree. It looks pretty staged.

Go to the “patriot pledge” section of the website.

I would have posted the whois info, but there’s a disclaimer:

All I can say is: this website (and central idea) is pretty lame.

I’m 99% sure it’s a joke site, right up there with Enjoy the Draft.

It’s a performance.
