Rick and I met in the “thread for people who don’t get mentioned in flirty threads” that a girl started last January. I started teaching him to flirt, and the next thing I knew, we were emailing, chatting, and within a few days, talking on the phone. It was clear to me that this was the best guy I had ever met, so in April I flew to England so we could meet in person. We had a wonderful time and in September, Rick came here to visit me.
Not only was the dope where we met, but several threads have inspired milestones; for example, a thread about what you love about your girlfriend helped Rick realise how much he loved me. (I, on the other hand, already knew I loved him madly, but being a girl, I am clever that way. Besides, how could I not love him madly?)
