Gotta disagree with you there. If you’are an extra in the background of a trailer, no big deal. But if you have any dialogue suggesting you’re part of the story, it’s false advertising to use your likeness to help sell a movie that doesn’t have you in it. Like that Tie Fighter that appears behind the main character in Rogue One in the trailer but never appears in the moviefilm.

She had a big role in Blade Runner 2049, too, which helped.
