Yet another unjustified tasering by idiot cop

What is a “non-enforceable” bill? McFarland shouldn’t have worried about paying the bill because it was “non-enforceable”? Okay, you “doubt” that there is a bill because one was brought in by police and you admit you weren’t privy to billing. I’m telling you I have no doubt it doesn’t work the way you think it does. Doctors and hospitals don’t give anyone a break on paying bills based on how they were brought there and police forces don’t pay patients’ bills.

Well, that’s the case in hospitals you’ve worked. it’s not that way everywhere.

I didn’t move anything. I consider it an issue, you don’t. It certainly wont keep me up at nights that you don’t.

Well, like I said, I wasn’t involved with billing, but they dont bill the patient for an eval when they are brought in by the police. Again, they may where you worked, but it seems unlikely. And hospitals do bill the police when they bring pirsoners in, so you can drop the silly rolleyes smiley. I don’t know know about when it’s protective custody, but it seems to me that it would be al logical step.

What you said earlier:

Here’s the link to the video:

He gets up at 4:57. Can you tell us at what time he heads towards the officer? Where was this officer standing in relation to McFarland? How far away was he?

If someone sends you a bill you are not legally obligated to pay, then no, you shouldn’t worry about it. You might have to dispute it.

I know that patients brought for eval and not admitted were not billed at any of the hospitals I worked at. I know this because I would be asked to sit in when a doc wanted a tech present. After they were admitted, I don’t know as much, because when they were released I wasn’t there.

I’m telling you, I have no doubt you dont know what you’re talking about. As I ahve said, it may work that way in some hospitals, but not the ones I’ve worked in. And city/county government does in fact pay patients bills when they are brought in as prisoners.

It’s not unlikely. Doctors and hospitals bill patients.

No, they don’t bill the police and we’re not talking about prisoners. Provide a cite for police forces getting bills for prisoners.

Being that the camera was in the taser , the officer was in front of him. He said fuck you and got up, in the process, moving towards him. He could have turned as he got up, he could have stated he was complying, but what he said indicated he was not going to complay, and his motion towards the officer would be seen as hostile. I know you disagree.

When they are admitted and treated. When they are eval’d they are not patients, and are not billed.

Yes, they do bill the city/county. You haven’t provided the cite I asked you for, so why should I go to the trouble. It’s not an outrageous claim. When someone is in custody, their medical care is agencies responsibilty. That’s why prisons have their own hospitals.

Because you were present when a doc asked you to be you know there wasn’t a bill? Did you think you would have seen the doc write up the bill himself and hand it to the patient?

It may work that way in some hospitals or I don’t know what I’m talking about? Which is it?

I never said otherwise. Stop making straw man arguments.

Of course they’re patients during the evaluations. I don’t know where you get this stuff. Getting seen by docs in the ER or on the floor is being treated and billable.

You made the claim, you provide the site. Tell me why you think they would bill McFarland if he’s admitted but not if he’s seen by docs and not admitted. Prisoners get free care for all services; you obviously see a distinction between McFarland and a prisoner.

never mind

I asked you how far the officer was more than once and you haven’t answered. I asked you to tell me during what time frame he moves towards him and you again didn’t reply. Did he have time to turn? Did he move towards the officer instead? By taking a step? Which foot did he start that step with?

I have no idea how far he was. He was in the living room, so not very far. I did reply, he moved towards the officer as he was getting up. so around the time you quoted. You disagree with my interpretation of his actions. I don’t care, you’ve probably never had to subdue anyone or had someone cup up out of a chair at you. I have, and I’m basing my intreptation out of experiences you lack. I wont convince you, because you’re obsessed with the subject. I’m not. I’ve voiced my opinion, acknowledged your experiences may be difffert, and you’ve insisted that your experiences are the only reality. Wallow in ignorance, I’ve said all i need to say to you.

well…almost done…

Because when the patient asked about it they were told there was no bill. Because when I walked showed them to thd door the front desk told them there was no bill. Because there was no bill.

both.

Yes you did. Scroll up a bit.

You know how big the living room was? It was reasonable to assume he was going to lunge towards the officer from some unknown distance so he should have been Tased the moment he stood up?

You didn’t answer the questions I asked.

As he was getting up? All he did was stand up? Are you claiming that standing up is moving towards the officer? You’re moving the goal post again. What you said:

*The guys says “fuck you” and gets up and heads towards the officer. *

What foot did he start heading towards the officer with? What was the time frame on the video so we can all see it happen?

I’m obsessed with the subject? Where are you getting that from? What obsession have I shown that you haven’t?

Man, that’s lame.

That makes no sense. You said:

"I’m telling you, I have no doubt you dont know what you’re talking about. As I ahve said, it may work that way in some hospitals, but not the ones I’ve worked in. "

If you claim it may work that way in some hospitals, how could you also claim to have no doubt that I don’t know what I’m talking about?

No, I didn’t.

You’re really laughable.

The cop is in front of the chair. How is getting up from the chair NOT also heading towards the officer?

Have you watched the 36:50 video clip?
