I need to place a GTX285 but cannot afford a GTX285. I would like to get something that would be quiet, and would allow me to play games like Team Fortress 2 and Eve.

I am looking at this one right now: GTS250. Anyone have any experience with this card? Pros/Cons? $ 150 is about what I’d like to spend.

Gigabyte makes a 4850 with a passive cooler. It’ll be silent and perform about the same as the GTS250. I have no idea where you’d find one in stock though.

Sweet, so the GTS250 is at the top of that list or the Radeon 4850. Thanks guys. Looks like I was on the right track.

So I got the 4850 because it was $ 40 cheaper. It’s not passively cooled, but I’m going to assume that the fan will run quiet. I don’t mind the white noise of fans if they are good fans.
