Another question that came up. Has a team from York County Pennsylvania ever made it to the Little League World Series?
Here’s a list of the yearly winners. Looks like seven teams from Pennsylvania have made the finals. Not sure if any of them are from York County. Much more extensive details are available from the Little League’s own website.
Matching anson’s list with the Wikipedia listing for places in York County would indicate that there has NOT been a team from there in the finals.
Well, it turns out my friend only thinks they made it to the regional playoffs. I haven’t been able to find those listed anywhere.
The Little League website only lists the full results for the most recent years, but they do have a pretty good archive at their museum. An email to their media director should produce an answer. His email address is on this page.
