The six police cars in this case may have been the standard response (especially if it were coded as a domestic dispute), they may have been a pre-emptive measure to dampen the enthusiasm of the photographers in the bushes, or the caller may have said something indicating imminent danger to life.

More likely, the extra cops showed up just so they could brag to their friends & family about how they got to arrest a celebrity.

That’ll do insect. That’ll do.

Well played, sir.

Oh look, it’s Liberal being his usual asshole self and dragging his retarded, money-worshiping libertarian bullshit into this.
Liberal is money-worshipping? Where did you pull that out of? One shudders to think.

I may be a skeeter, mon petit pamplemousse, but you do not want me landing on your neck on a hot summer night. I garohntee.

You need to aspire a little higher if that is your idea of théâtre superbe.

I know lots of drug addicts without money who have gotten back on track despite not having money. That’s a lot harder to do than when you have a $700,000+ a month income which you got by being a talentless hack and getting all up in my face with your bullshit for the better part of a decade. The folks who got better with no money is news. This spoiled bitch should not be news.

News I wouldn’t mind reading though, would be Britney has started putting money aside for old age/college fund for her kids, and has decided to go to a credible facility to get clean, and learn to stay clean. But, she has shown she doesn’t care about herself, and therefore cannot really care about her children. You cannot truly love another, and care for/about another, if you do not love and nurture yourself. It’s sad. ![]()
Apparently, she is not very frugal but with an income of $737,000 a month, does she need to be?
Yes, she does. Elton John went broke by spending that much on one spree. People who have money have it because they don’t spend it. That’s the nature of the thing — having a cake or eating it.

I agree with you in principle, but she gets a new cake every month. Sort of like winning the lottery 12 times a year. A couple of those and I could retire.
But my needs are small.

Don’t forget, she has to pay (what I imagine is) a huge staff to help her fuck up so monumentally.
Most of the income IIRC is from various contracts which are not contracts for life- surely most will be cancelled when they end. I don’t think the money from album sales is anywhere near enough to live a lavish style on forever. I see Playboy, not porn, in the next few years once the money dries up but before the goods do.

After 2 kids and who knows how much drug and alcohol abuse, the goods have got to be dying up fast.

After seeing her VMA performance, I’d say the goods are toast.
At one point, she was pretty phenomenal, but that was when she was around 18… I don’t think Playboy would be that interested to be honest, but we could see Britney in an issue of Hustler one of these days.
I will not buy that Hustler (actually come to think of it, I don’t buy any Hustler).

But no driver, because that would make too much sense. And no car seats (or did she finally break down and buy some?). The sooner she is out of the media eye, the better for all of us and for her.

Not true- she has a standing offer with Playboy for several million once she gets her act together (Hefner said he didn’t want to take advantage of an already down person, so once she’s better mentally, he’d be more than happy to have her in his magazine).
This is her last video - I dunno, she doesn’t look bad to me. I mean, she’s not nearly as hot as she used to be, but I’m pretty confident that if I saw her on the street, I’d think she had a nice body. I read this thing about someone who met her at Barnes and Noble the other day (the person worked there and she was there, buying books for her kids) and the person said it blew their mind how absolutely tiny Britney is- both height and weight. Actually, they were recently selling some of her clothes for charity (clothes she’s been photographed in recently) and they were size 6, which is in no way unattractively large. But I would agree that I think everyone would prefer old Britney naked, as opposed to new Britney heh.
I think it’s heartless to directly derive pleasure from another’s suffering, but I dont see any harm in cracking some anonymous jokes. Humor is funny because it reminds us of the truth. In any case, the jokes in the original CS thread seemed pretty tame to me. I hope I’m not a calloused hypocrite!
