For MJ? Nah. I would for Jeff Buckley. Maybe for Shannon Hoon or Jimi Hendrix. I could even try Nick Drake or Kurt Cobain, but I suspect those two would just off themselves at some other point.
I wouldn’t even save Elvis if I could because both men desperately needed to be salvaged from their inner demons.
Listen, MJ was one small step away from being institutionalized – anyone with eyes could see it. He disfigured himself, he starved himself, he drugged himself, not to mention his mental illness(es).
I seriously doubt he could have made it through a grueling tour schedule without his heart giving out, drugs or no drugs.
If I could not do it in a manner that would save the kids from being molested by him, I would not bother. He sings pretty, so what, he’s a pedophile.
Why help the guy and risk some poor kids being molested? He was circling the drain anyway.
Absolutely not. He was a vile and deranged human being. He made one hugely successful album because he had a brilliant producer then spent 25 years trying to sell the same schtick while becoming ever more delusional about his own relevance and entitlements, including his sexual ones.
I’m not ashamed to say I was happy the day he died and I’m happy about it still.
Elvis is not dead. He just went home.
The temporal ripple effect nearly always causes either the victory of the Third Reich or the rise of the Fourth Reich. No thanks!
Well, sure. But I’d have to go all the way back to where his seed was planted and by whom. Fated Michael didn’t wilt away because of his character, I think. He died because his roots were twisted.
It’s been reported that Jackson was using that anesthesia drug for 15 years. He used it regularly during his World tour in the mid 90’s.
It was going to kill him sooner or later. It’s a miracle he didn’t die during that World tour.
I love me some Elvis, but the man had lost his way. And surrounded by the people he was, I doubt he’d have ever found his way back.
Ditto re Michael Jackson.
Agreed. The only way to do some permanent good would be to get Elvis and MJ and transport them to a good rehab/therapist facility in the middle of Alaska and let them regain their sanity, away from the parasitical hangers-on. Otherwise it would be lather, rinse, repeat.
Not a good idea. I tried that once and when I returned to the present, long story short, everyone was speaking Dutch. I had to go back again and shoot myself before I shot Princip, which just opened up a whole can of causality worms that took the better part of a week to sort out.
Alot of people would say the same about your life and deatth . I I doubt anyone would want to save you either, let alone care when you pass. Why would anyone even want to save you?
What you you done to personally better anyone’s life, let alone the world? MJ donated to and created countless charities. He was a huge humanitarian who also entertained millions and broke down racial barriers in music. He will be remembered for centuries by the music world .
On topic, yes i would save him. He made the world a better place and I wanted to see him do more concerts and make more albums., as well as engage in more humanitarian activities. He made the world bit of a brighter place.
