You can't show me HDTV on my TV, so stop trying.

Print would be excellent. You could fairly compare resolution of the pictures.
I have no problem with advertising on television, it’s just silly to pretend you can show me the difference. Tell me about it.

I obviously mistated my arguement.
If they zoom the TV picture (which we are watching on “low def”) which is LD on one side and HD on the other side of a split screen, the LD and HD sides should look the same. When the LD side begins to blur, our LD TV we are watching should blur, too so that the HD picture rendered in LD will be blurry, too.

No. You show a closeup shot of a HD screen and a closeup of a standard definition screen and the two images will be different, even if the presentation is being shown on a standard definition screen.
