I’ll take one of these houses. I used to date a girl who’s aunt lived on this street and it is the greatest place I’ve ever been to. they’re small houses so would be easy to maintain but they have ocean, city and mountain views. Not to mention they have the world’s most perfect weather.

An absolutely gigantic mansion, like the one in There Will Be Blood, but bigger, built with brown brick and partially half-timbered facades, also incorporating modernist elements. Part of the home would be underground, part of it a tall tower.

Large (but not huge) custom designed house with fun things like a dedicated computer/game room, exercise room, home theater, large sunroom for the cats, library, and a secret hideaway room/suite hidden behind a bookcase or something. I’ve always wanted a house with a secret room. Also, a finished basement and attic.
None of this has to be particularly luxurious–just a nice upper-middle class style house in a nice neighborhood.
I want the library to end all libraries. That includes computers, CD’s, DVD’s, and special collections. I’ll have to think about the topics for the special collections.

A small cabin on a lake I know well, about 8 hrs from here. Not a mcmansion/cottage now, a smallish, understated cabin. No insulation, no running water, no electricity, no phone - like that.(It’s not a trick right? I get the land too?) I’ll do the unkeep, happily, buy the boat, you name it. I’ll be in heaven!

I’d like my own country. You did say that consumables and maintenance were paid for? That frees my people from the toil and drudge of earning a living, and there will blossom a new Renaissance in Silenusia. Plus, my well-maintained armed forces will deter any anti-social inclinations of my neighbors.
My tastes are simple - I could be very happy with the annual delivery of a couple of cases of Chateau Petrus.
