It was 20 years ago I want to say 207x3. Google tells me it is now 1N3xx, depending on language, which is certainly different from the time I was in.
I’m pretty sure my brother was a 1N something. He was in ELINT (electronic intelligence).

Brewha, I humbly apologize for pissing on your thread. I overreacted, because that is a touchy subject for me. Anybody who knows me would tell you I’m not normally an old grouch - quite the opposite, in fact. My comments weren’t meant to be so critical. My writing skills aren’t all that great, and maybe I sound more serious than I mean to be.
Next time you come to PCB I’ll by ya a beer or two and a dozen oysters at Hunt’s.
