You know, we should chat about global warming

Ah-ha, Laata is an internet blogger who must also be depressed that Al Gore doesn’t get the global warming respect that Laata feels Manbearpig deserves. And therefore, you feel his feeling about this issue are important.

Al Gore’s involvement is a part of global warming history. You can chose to ignore his participation if you so chose.

You miss the one that is on your head.

Really, nothing in your reply had anything to do with the issue of misusing Gore and 0 evidence that the scientist is depressed thanks to Gore.

The current cycle of global warming began before the end of the last ice age. Are you saying all the PhDs in the field disagree with that statement?

Christ you’re stupid. Laanta isn’t the name of the blogger, it’s an acronym from the name of the site. The blogger’s name is Terence.

Characteristically, when your stupidity is pointed out, you insist on doubling down on it.

No, Al Gore’s involvement is part of the history of global-warming-related politics, not of the history of the physical phenomenon itself. That’s an important distinction – once again:

The scientist is depressed because there are people who find her work to be unbelievable. Being associated with Al Gore can’t possibly help with her depression.

Cite?

And the point in your head is ignored again.

Al Gore is not the reason why this issue exists, you indeed have the very stupid idea that by killing “the lead zombie” then everything will be alright, It is indeed a very stupid idea.

And the moon is not made out of cheese.

Really, you are only relying in non sequiturs to support an idiotic point.

Pretty much all Ph.D.'s in the field would say that the warming cycle that began before the end of the last Ice Age has fuck all to do with recent climate changes over the past few centuries.

But you just keep regurgitating the same talking points you’ve taken from climate change deniers without the slightest awareness of what they actually mean.

The ice melted. Seriously, this isn’t rocket surgery. There were massive ice sheets, and then they melted. They didn’t melt because the planet was getting colder. Ice plus heat equal water.

(Underline added)

Then you agree that the current cycle of global warming began before the end of the last ice age.

So what? What’s your point?

So what?

But, we’re talking about the current cycle of global warming. That goes back only to the Industrial Revolution and shows a rise of temperature discontinuous with the natural cycles.

I’ve been much more entertained ever since I started seeing doorhinge’s posts as performance art.

It’s a bit like watching a chicken try to dance. It goes through the motions but has no idea what it’s doing.

I think it’s nice that agree.

So your remarks were pointless.

By the way, do you think that quantum mechanics and general relativity are correct?

The current ice age cycle is from ice age to ice age. The Industrial Revolution didn’t mark the end of the last ice age.
