It’s my position that you need to convince MORE people to believe that your version of man-made-CO2-is-evil if you intend to make man-made-CO2-is-evil laws and regulations the law of the globe. Unfortunately, I don’t believe you have the skillset to be able to do that.
Yes, it’s our fault we can’t convince the wilfully ignorant and the pathologically stupid.
I hate all of you people for forcing me to see my name on this thread every day.
(post shortened, underline added)
Then we agree that A) Al Gore’s movie, by order of the British court, can not be shown to British school children without be accompanied by a warning of it’s political nature, opinions, and errors, and B) without be accompanied by a warning of it’s political nature, opinions, and errors, the Al Gore film can not be shown to British school children.
Admitting that you’re at fault is the 1st step to recovery.
You chose the nom de plume Smeghead. If you don’t like it, maybe you should have chosen a different name?
You keep asking for qualifications as if that might influence whether you take it or not. But yeah, I accept the fact that you’re too chickenshit to put your money where you’re mouth is.
You’re not even attempting to address any evidence here, you’re just trolling. And you haven’t been “convinced” to hold the position you do by evidence (since it’s obvious you don’t understand and of it), you merely hold it because of your politics. You can’t reason someone out of something they weren’t reasoned into.
Hahahaha. I’ve already said “no”. No means no. If you want to change the status quo, you need to convince me to buy what you’re selling. (Why does that sound sooooo familiar?) Otherwise, it’s no-sale. Capiche?
I never said that California would not receive copious amounts of precipitation in the current water year. That’s a complete fabrication on your part. But, if that’s the best you can do, that’s the best you can do.
Yup. Trolls gotta troll.
That’s your penance for reopening this can of shit.
Never claimed I did. That is why I defer to scientists and experts, you only can produce shit for support.
And all can see how an incompetent you are at geography and basic physics.
A lie as the judge also clarified that the overall point of the documentary was scientifically correct. Another lie of yours is also on your declaration that the warnings are about the politics, no, it was about some scientific points that now are clarified to the students.
Wow. Since not even you could be this amazingly stupid, you’ve got to be trolling.
It ill becomes you.
That clearly wasn’t my intention, if you go way back to the beginning. Ironically, this was supposed to be a “Yay! That incredibly irritating global warming thread is FINALLY dead!!” thread.
I know, just giving you grief. I was in the same celebratory mood back in those bright days of October. But as Colibri says, trolls gotta troll.
Does doorhinge post anything of value elsewhere on the boards? Is he always this stupid and inane? I ask honestly because I’m only really familiar with him from Pit threads.
I often wonder what motivates someone to flaunt their ignorance and stupidity in the way he’s doing here. It’s not like he’s actually trying to defend a position.
This is the first time he’s ever blatantly pretended not to comprehend an analogy. The blunt question, “…Do you believe ice cream creates CO2?” was one of the worst efforts at pseudo-naivete anyone on these boards has ever vomited forth. From his past performance, he is actually intelligent enough to know what an analogy is, this drooling pretense to idiocy is functionally idiotic.
(It’s as if I were to say, “Post? Post? What does doorhinge’s message here have to do with a stick of wood half-buried in the ground? What ‘post’ are you speaking of?” That’s not only not convincing in any way, nor a reasonable nor rational response, it’s bloody infantile. And, to give the son of a boar-hound backhanded cred, he isn’t an infant.)
Wrong. What the UK judge decreed was that the film had to be accompanied by additional, updated information which includes solid scientific corroboration of the film’s overall findings as well as correcting some minor errors in a few statements within the film.
In other words, the court’s ruling did not say that the movie had to be flagged as a mere partisan polemic, as you are dishonestly trying to imply. What it said is that the movie had to be placed in a broader scientific context which overwhelmingly confirms the movie’s basic stance on climate science.
You know, doorhinge, it’s not like everybody can’t see that you’re lying when you pull one of these dishonest maneuvers to fling shit at the facts of climate science. Every time one of your attempted deceptions gets exposed by a fuller presentation of the actual facts, it makes the fundamental mendacity of your position more apparent.
So by all means, doorhinge, keep talking.
World leaders of almost 200 hundred countries have agreed to the climate change deal. And among the attendees clapping in the front to the leaders of the accord was Al Gore.
Much to the chagrin of all those denier organizations, “not from a house of lords” Christoffer Monkton, “My heath island effect was not important” Anthony Watts, “Former pusher for swift boaters” Mark (Moran) Morano and deniers from the Heartland Institute or the GWPF were not in the conference room to be a part of doing the right thing.
They were very busy in Paris being ignored by the whole world, and they also ignored the jointed or flexible device on which a door, lid, or other swinging part turns guy over here.
And so my job here is done, as in I’m not feeding the troll here as per the request of Smeghead.
