"You need to learn how to jump, boo." Runner saves a deer stuck in a fence twice

The hilarious video of a true hero

I love how she was giving tough love to that deer the whole time, like the deer was her own wayward child. I also love how she was fussing at all the (invisible) deer who were responsible for the deer not knowing how to jump. You can tell this lady either has kids or was raised in a house full of kids.

The funniest part is when the camera falls over at the end. That’s when I lost it.

Great video.

So I’m not the only nut-job who helps animals in distress.

Good for her.

That’s awesome.

judging by the deer’s size, it probably was only about 6 months old or so.

She reminds me of seagull-dude. Also very heartwarming

Reminds me of the multiple times I had to bail my cat out of his own inexplicable screwups. Lol

[dayum] Watches her bend metal bars. [/dayum]

I thought she was fussing at invisible deer, but I rewatched it and noticed one deer standing on the sidelines.

I love this woman.

Its amazing what people will do for a little doe.

Love it! It was so hard watching her try to bend the second fence. I could feel her frustration…great woman!

No, no that is at least a yearling. When they leave Mom and are weaned they get into all kinda fixes. They’re the ones who stop on the highway with the “deer in the headlights look”. Causing accidents and getting killed and hurting and killing humans. A menace!!

Just saw one this afternoon, a little older, on a side street. They used to be extremely rare in our suburb, but are getting more and more frequent. We’re a long way from any woods.

Looks like Stone Mountain, Georgia.

White [del]men[/del] tails can’t jump!

Isn’t that Stone Mountain in the background? The Georgia cliff with the memorial carvings of Robert E. Lee et al?

Yes. Despite its sordid history, it is a wonderful place for recreation and getting stuck in fences.
