?? Excuse me?? Ain’t no Texan I ever known said ‘pea-kan.’ And except for a couple of years in Missouri, I’ve lived here all my life (so far:)).
Like Dire Wolf said, it’s puh-cahn.

So where are the lawyers?
Isn’t this thread about the Law of Tarts?
MMMmmmmm, can get them at any roadside stand here…I had some just a couple of weekends ago…
Careful, dantheman, you were on your way to my list of favorite posters…don’t screw up now…
Whoops!
huh huh … she said “screw” …
Actually, I thoroughly enjoy southern food and hospitality when I’m down there.
I once killed a man over an entire Key Lime pie but that was ruled justifiable.
Bah, sweet potato pie. One of the many travesties to come out of the south. i am one of those who believes it is inferior to Pumpkin pie. It doesn’t take much to make either flavorful.
Now Pecan pie…that’s a whole other story.
Ah yes - but would you kill for it?
Sweet potato pie - feh!
P’cahn pie is probably the only pie worth… well definitely derby pie is… um yeah, pumpkin pie is good too…
Hailing from Augusta, Georgia - ya’ll be nice now!
(I acutally never say ya’ll - NEVER - I’ve always said ‘you guys’ - course I spent my first 13 years of life in Ohio… but I was conceived in the south )
Did anyone else read that as “transvestites”?
Didn’t think so…
