I wouldn’t feel right screwing over my coworkers even if I just couldn’t wait to get out of my job. This is hypothetical, though, since I am currently unemployed.
I wouldn’t quit my job. I like it and the folks I work with. I would however, buy a scooter or two. A classic Vespa and a modern and fast Aprilia or Lambretta. I would travel to Perú to explore my country and visit family whom I have not seen in years. I would also move out of my apartment and buy a house, nothing fancy or ridiculously big. Just one built well…with lots of natural light and a nice area for a garden and flowers. Also, I have a list of people who I would like to help out.
I wouldn’t consider quitting my job. I love my job. So “Other”. But like earlier posters have said, I would probably take more vacation time.
I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of 2-weeks notice. My employer has reduced its workforce & tripled the workload. I’d go to work & wander around, ignoring each crisis as it arose. Wonder if it would take them 2 weeks to fire me?
I’ve heard that if a large group were to quit work at the same time, the employer can sue them for causing a hardship. Any truth to that?
Bingo.
I would definitly take more time off, though, and I’d probably start some side projects.
