Just wondering why you didn’t mention a word regarding Nikola Tesla when you answered this question. I am of the opinion that he did indeed cause this, though an extraterrestrial object holds just as much amazement and awe, I do believe there is alot more than meets the eye regarding Tesla. If they can prove beyond a doubt it was an extraterrestrial object, it will not lose any sparkle for me, the fact it happened so recently and on such a scale is reason enough to be very intruiged.
Much of Tesla’s work was stolen by others, much was lost or destroyed. In my eyes I believe he deserves a mention. My two cents.
The article in question is What caused the massive 1908 explosion in Tunguska, Siberia? (28-Feb-2003). I’m curious what makes you think that Tesla caused the Tunguska explosion. I was under the impression that Tesla was living in the United States at that time; what would he have been doing in Siberia? Also, just how (and why) would Tesla have done such a thing?
There is a popular crackpot theory that Tesla was working on some sort of “death ray” at the time. Of course, there is absolutely no evidence to suggest this, and no workable theory as to how technology of Tesla’s era could have caused the disaster.
Sorry, Clly, but this gibberish is about the only way to explain how given the technology of the time Tesla could generate more power than atomic bombs.
