So, I’m in my car on my way to work today, singin’ away. (In my car is the only place I can do this )… and I started thinking about that TV Show, You’re Big Break.
(For those who don’t know… you get on the show, and then sing a song by a famous person as if you were that famous person. They dress you up to look like them, and you supposedly sing like them.
So, I was thinking… I’ll bet I could do a mean James Hetfield (from Metallica ). Of course, I’d never win since its A> audience poll, b> James isn’t real accessible to the mainstream, C> I wouldn’t let them force me into a slower song, If I’m doing James, I’m rockin’, which again, wouldn’t be real accessible to the mainstream.
NOw, I know its a cheesy show, but I’m thinking-- who would all you guys “be”. I mean, if you were on the show, who would you want to be and what would you sing? Do you think you’d win?
I would, and do, avoid that show like the plague. I just wanted to point out that you better avoid imitating Metallica. Pay heed to Napster. You have been warned.
