Your call gets dropped. Who calls back?

Me. We decided that last night.

Whenever I talk to this one friend, the call always gets dropped. Every single time. I try to call her back, and she tries to call me, and we get each other’s voice mail. So we decided that when that happens in the future (and it will), she’ll wait for me to dial.

This never happens with anybody else.

See this is why we need to start a new convention right now: If you made the call, then… If it unexpectedly terminates, you call back. You’re the one that wanted to talk in the first place.

Our new slogan: “You make the call? You make the callback.”

This is exactly the rule in my family. It has saved so much aggravation.

Although occasionally my sister or I will send a text saying we didn’t have anything else to say anyway.
