The medical director of our health district is an egotistical chauvinistic pathetic excuse for a man who seems to get his kicks by manipulating employees of our organization as if we are players in a real-life SimCity simply because he has failed with his own family. He can’t control them, but he has “power” to make us do his bidding.
His latest episode of “brilliance” is in regards to a job posting for an emergency preparedness specialist. His words to the emergency preparedness coordinator preparing for interviews were in summary, “Don’t hire any women with kids. They can’t do the job in a real emergency. Same goes for the public information officer.” His mindset is that women can’t handle leadership roles and must ultimately be supervised by a man.
This is the same medical director who is convinced that diet can control any ailment of the body and that genetics is mostly myth.
The same medical director who fired a man because he wore white socks with black shoes (there’s more, but that was one of the main reasons), yet would not fire a man who stole money from the organization and was investigated by the state and found guilty, nor has he fired a man who has been found guilty of continued sexual harassment of several female employees.
And, the same medical director who believes that no person should have more than two children. Ever. Regardless of circumstance.
The medical director is so concerned that the carpet might be spotted, that we have no available break room. Reluctantly, he lets us eat at our desks, as long as the food is not aromatic.
We can’t hang anything on the walls because it looks “too cluttered.”
Dr. Psychotic, go to hell. Your obsessive compulsive behavior drives us all to rage. You make it impossible for sane people to think clearly. Unfortunately, you don’t seem to understand that NO ONE in this organization has any respect for you. One of these days, you will get caught and reprimanded for all the illegal things you do, like discriminating based on whether or not a person smokes, is overweight, or is a woman, and, using grant funds inappropriately.
Fuck you. I hope you rot in hell.
