Your dream team? Who is it?

I think it’s an interesting what-if. So I’d like to ask who YOUR dream team is. They don’t have to be political, it can be anyone. There are really only two rules I ask be followed:

  1. Has to be a real person.
  2. Has to be alive now.

There should have both a President and Vice-President listed. I’m also going to list what they bring to the table (but that’s optional).

President:
Mark Warner: Graduated GWU with a 4.0 GPA, JD from Harvard law, built business worth 200mil, Former Governor of VA, Maintained state’s AAA bond rating (1 of only 5 states to maintain rating), currently Jr. Senator from VA)

Vice-President:
Colin Powell: Combat Veteran, National Security Adviser, Chairman-Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretary of State.

Between the two I think you’ve got:

  1. Significant legislative and executive experience
  2. Domestic and foreign policy leadership experience
  3. National and international respect
  4. Solid, honest fiscal conservatism that doesn’t favor the wealthy in any special way
  5. Balanced social liberalism without the side order of granola nuttiness.

That’s my dream team, right there.

Regards,

  1. Jon Stewart (for obvious reasons)
  2. Megan Fox. If the only job of the VP is to have a pulse and break ties, it might as well be a super hot pulse that can break ties.

If I had to pick some politicians I’d go with…

  1. Obama (I don’t share his political views on everything, but he seems intelligent, reasonable, eloquent and in posession of personal integrity)
  2. Noam Chomsky (Because he’s just incredibly intelligent and knows more about policy than anyone)

Prez:
Brad Ellsworth - pro-life Democrat from Indiana

VP:
Leon Panetta - highly competent upstanding statesman & administrator
