Wow, when I saw the Subject Line I immediately thought of Marley and Me. Not that it’s my favorite dog movie ever, but it’s the best one in recent years (since My Dog Skip). I thought it was wonderful, very realistic, funny, humane, and moving.

My favorite is probably The Plague Dogs, though, yeah, it’s also the most depressing.

I’m a cat person but I love most dog movies. But then, I also hate sports but love most sports movies. Go figure.

The Doberman Gan. A group of would-be bank robbers train dobermans (and one bulldog) to rob a bank. Fun caper film with a surprise ending.

Lady And The Tramp.

Jock of the Bushveld. Great soundtrack, too.
