The only soundtrack I’ve ever bothered buying was from a little-known flop called Angus. It’s got one of my favorite Green Day tracks ever along with a couple of good songs by an Irish band called Ash, among others.
Star Trek: First Contact Godzilla: 1985 Conan the Barbarian Nightmare Before Christmas 1492: Conquest of Paradise The 13th Warrior Call of Duty The Little Mermaid
My dad took me to see that in theatres when I was about nine years old! I’ve been wanting to see it again recently. Interestingly, the only clear memory I have of the movie is the slow dance scene to Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You.” I just looked at the track listing for the soundtrack and they left it off! I wonder why that is.
I only own a couple of soundtracks, but my favorite is In the Mood for Love. It’s especially neat, considering that I don’t listen to much non-rock/pop music.
This thread reminded me how terrific the music in The Commitments was. The soundtrack’s definitely going on my wish list. (Apparently, there’s a second volume too! The lead singer, Andrew Strong, also appears to have some solo albums.)
I loved Jane Horrocks’ singing in Little Voice, but I’ve been stopped from buying the soundtrack because only two of her songs from the movie are included on the sountrack! It also doesn’t look like Michael Caine’s version of “It’s Over” is on there either. Otherwise, I’m sure I’d love the soundtrack.
O Bother, Where Art Thou?

<sings>Camelot! Camelot!
In far-off France I heard your call.
Camelot! Camelot!
And here am I to give my all.
I know in my soul what you expect of me,
And all that and more I shall be.</sings>
