I use fresh ground (although I sometimes grind for two or three pots worth at one time) and a drip with a thermal carafe. The pot has a timer built in but not a grinder.
I have about 5 different coffees in the cabinet right now.

I alternate between periods where I use a french press, and others where I just drink instant coffee (Nescafe Gold).
I know instant coffee tastes little like real coffee, but it’s what I drunk first and it’s still how I expect coffee to taste. I love exploring different beans with the french press, but it’s far more expensive and takes longer than I usually want to spend making coffee.
Little Irish guy. Goes by McCormick. Ask around.
Thanks, all.
I like my coffee hot and black. And made with this.
Folger’s Ugh.
My mom gave me one of those when I went away to college. Too cool!
I use a french press. Simple, and less wasteful. Remember that many french press carafes are glass, too. I’ve broken my share… But they make darn good coffee.
My all-time favorite was (in college) brewing coffee in our lab, using regular lab glassware, heating mantles, etc. Great to reach into a ventilation hood, take the beaker at the end of a seemingly complex set of glassware, and down the contents.
