Sometimes I think that FOX needs to hire censors that have their minds a little more firmly in the gutter to catch some of the things that are said on “Animation Domination.”
Cases in point:
Family Guy - Meg: “I can’t taste salt!” (It took me 3 times of seeing that episode before I finally went )
American Dad - Roger: “Well I’ll be upstairs melting pearls on my tummy if you need me.” (First time: “I don’t get it.” Second time: )
What are your favourite inappropriate phrases that made you think “Holy crap, how did that get past the censors?!!”

Well, it depends on if you think it was inappropriate or not, but Capt. Picard very clearly, if not very loudly, said “Merde!” on an episode of TNG.

I do not get either of those. Can you explain?
I get the ‘melting pearls one:’ It’s a reference to how ejaculate might look on one’s stomach.
I don’t get the salt one.

Semen supposedly has a salty taste?
I thought this was about Fox News. They have much funnier lines.

Semen tastes salty.
ETA: Doh! I thought I’d refreshed this page!
Ditto!
So there must be more to that joke than just the line “I can’t taste salt,” because out of context, I don’t see any reason to think of semen.
She’s trying to impress the next-door neighbour boy that she has a crush on.
Still seems a bit obscure. “I have no gag reflex,” sure.
Is it universally understood that semen is salty? I don’t… I mean, I haven’t done the research…

Don’t accept any blue plastic spoons full of candy, then.
Exactly. That’s why one’s mind has to be way far in the gutter to catch the reference and probably how it got past the censors.
They snuck a lot past 'em on The Simpsons .
The Krusty See & Say: “S is for shiksa! S…H…I…uh…I think there’s a T in there…”
The Springfield Heights Institute of Technology.
Morningwood Penitentiary.
Me too. Is the thread for Fox only then? Why?
For those that don’t get it.
Homer: Mmmmm…Sugar Walls.
Ken Brockman: From now on we’ll all be taking golden showers.
Principal Skinner: Chew through my ball sack.
I think the salt thing is a reference to the joke about pretending to shake a salt shaker on your tongue and you will actually taste salt. Especially if you tilt your head back.
You won’t taste salt, but you will look like you are sucking a dick.
Urine is known for being salty. Semen is not. It’s a non-joke in my view - just random Meg lameness.
