Your First Real Kiss

I met this guy that lived in the same dorm complex as me last year online and he came down to talk to me for a little while. The next night, I went over to hang out with him and some friends and we all watched a movie and just hung out until late. He came over to my room after and we just sat on my bed watching a movie awkwardly. He kept telling me I was really cute, obviously hitting on me, then just said “I really want to kiss you” and looked at me as if he was waiting for permission. So I nodded slightly. And he did.

Summer camp. His name was Jim. He was troubled. All the girls adored him. He kissed my best friend too.

College. An exchange student from France named Gabriel (IIRC). It was not entirely consensual, and totally disgusting.

I, like Purd Werfect, had my first boyfriend in kindergarten. We must have been adorable to the adults around us, as we loved to play house and he would kiss me hello when he got home from work, etc. but I didn’t french until I was 14, which I think of as my first kiss. He was 17. It was at a party and we had been paired up all night. At one point everyone broke off and we were alone. He went straight to the tongue, which shocked me, but it was very exciting after the initial shock. We never really did anything stronger than that, though. The relationship was sabotaged by his friend, who told me he was cheating on me, so I called it off about 5 months into it. 6 months later I found out the truth, and we became good friends at that point. We lost touch about 12 years later when he got married (I was already married about 2 years by then.)

Those were the days… Van Halen, drive in movies, driving around aimlessly in his '76 suped up Monte Carlo… sigh He had the most lovely blue eyes…

Three years old. Her name was Susan. She’d come over and I’d come indoors and get a couple cookies and then come back out. We’d sit on the steps and eat cookies and I’d put my arm around her. My folks say we smooched.

I was 17… he was 31. I had pursued him, and it was our first date.

The kiss turned french very fast, which made me uncomfortable, though I did like it.

What do you mean, the one I consider my first real kiss? Hasn’t happened yet…

various attempts when I was 12 do not count, I prefer to have that memory deleted

I was 16, she was my best friends slightly younger stepsister. We (me, her, and my best friend) were watching a movie. He had to run out to take care of some personal matters. It was dark, we held hands, then I made my move. First kiss, french kiss, and my first time touching boobs in the span of about 30 minutes.

I regretted it almost immediately. As far as I know my best friend didn’t find out (unlikely), or he just didn’t care enough to bring it up.

About a year ago. A girl I met in the Navy. She walked into the room and jumped me. Later that night she told me she was only flirting and we were just friends. Still have trouble trusting women

Venice, age 22 (yeah, I know). I went out for beers with a twentysomething college student from Finland who I met at the hostel, and we ended up making out furiously on a bench in the corner of Piazza San Marco for over an hour. It was a case of right place, right girl, seven years too late.

Later, we went back to the hostel and… made up for lost time.

Ooh, ooh, I get to post.

Yesterday. All of yesterday. That says it all, really.

I was 16. It was a parking lot, at night, after some sort of homecoming event. I think there may have been fireworks. Not due to the kiss, however, which was heinous. He kissed like a German shepherd.

  1. I met a guy at a nightclub, both of us pretty lit up, and we liplocked and slobbered over each other through the night. Ah, the lust of youth! I don’t know if I ever knew his name, but I think of him fondly.

My first kiss was with a girl called Christie. I was about 11.

My first REAL kiss [with fireworks and all] was with another girl also called Christie. I was 18.

We’re still together [anniversary this week…ooh!].

…now that I think about it, isn’t it a bit weird how my first kiss and my first real kiss was with two girls called Christie [spelt exactly the same and all! ]

First romantic one was at 18. She caught me by surprise. Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend already so there was no repeat.

First passionate one was at 22. As I mentioned in Muldoon III’s first kiss thread, much more followed before the night was through.

Her name was Kim. We were in the 7th grade. It was my 1st neurotic romantic obsession.

My 1st really passionate, romantic kiss was 2 years later. Her name was Angie, and she was the most beautiful girl in the world.

I was 13 or 14. A friend’s birthday party. Her name was Shelly. She was “going with” another guy but somehow we ended up dancing to “Careless Whisper”. It was awesome. Whenever i hear that song I think of her. I can still smell the gun she was chewing.

I, too, was a precoccious child. I think I had my first “kiss” when I was in kindergarten - his first name was Carlos and yes, I actually do remember his surname (it was a small school).

I had my first kiss the summer I was 13, I’m pretty sure. His name was Victor, he was 14, and I only sort of remember the circumstances… We were alone in a little alcove someplace - I forget what precipatated the kiss, but I’m pretty sure it was his idea. Very nice, very gentle. His kissing style gave no hint of the fact that he was a jerk, as I later found out.

Wow, hardcore. You go for the bad girls, eh?

I wish I had more to say… I haven’t had what I would consider a real kiss yet. I’ve kissed a guy friend of mine in a flirting sort of way, but there was no tongue involved or anything. And I’m straight and am definitely not interested in him romantically, so it doesn’t count in the least as far as I’m concerned.

Fernando, from Rio de Janeiro, when I was 16, in Copenhagen. (We were a bunch of exchange students on a week-long bus tour together. You can imagine the hormones loose in that bus.) We were on a (bumpy wooden) roller coaster in an amusement park, and when we went through a tunnel, I was suddenly being kissed. It was not all that comfy, and I remember being kind of disappointed–I’ve been waiting for that? Bummer. Although I was still pretty happy, he was very cute and we had been flirting. It was not until about a year later that I discovered that Fernando was a really rotten kisser, which was why the letdown.
