Tell Me About Your First Kiss (Y'know, the Elementary School One)

Don’t know why, but today I thought of the first boy I ever kissed. His name was William.

I was in Kindergarten, and we were having free play time. He was playing cops and robbers and this girl named Cherie and I decided to play “cop’s wife.” So the boys would chase each other and beat each other up, while we pretended to make dinner.

Then we would tell them it was time for dinner, and they would stop and “come home” and he and I would kiss and he would pretend to eat. We’d kiss again and he’d tell me he couldn’t stay because there was crime to stop.

Pretty soon I was calling him for dinner ALOT.

Then the teacher said cops were like priests and didn’t have wives and I should find something else to play . . .

I think she was lying.

I didn’t have an elementary school one. My first kiss was actually a real one in college.

Terri Ojendyk. Must have been 3rd grade or so. Trading kisses by the handball court after school. My father had a field day when she showed up in one of his Biology classes 7 years later.

I don’t remember which-all girls I kissed on the playground in the first grade, but for awhile there I was a regular Casanova. I’d chase 'em to the school wall and kiss them. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one enjoying this game, because I remember sometimes turning around and discovering I’d “caught” another girl I hadn’t even chased.

This went on for a week or so, then everyone moved on to other games. I wish I’d been that bold later, during … well, any phase of my single life after age 6.

His name was Harry and we were in fifth grade. We kissed on a bet.

After, he said my mouth tasted like spaghetti. I cried all night long.

Me too.

Wow. I just realized that person I kissed is the same age (nine years older than me) and has the same name as my current boyfriend. Very strange.

I got no action in elementary school, but in junior high I had a brief fling with an older woman (I was 12, she was a world-weary 13). We were the youngest in a group of neighbors, and they egged us on to kiss each other in front of them, so we did. She tasted like Beechnut Fruit Stripe™ gum, and I’ll never forget it. The kiss didn’t really do anything for me, but over the next few days it got much better. The swirl of emotions surrounding that two week affair stay with me to this day. Band on the Run (Paul McCartney & Wings) was popular at the time; on the rare occasions when I hear it nowadays, it brings me right back to that time.

Thank you for causing me to think about this today.

I was in 6th grade by the time I had my first kiss - it was a family friend and we were on a family trip in Tennessee together.

Our parents were greatly amused.

Ha. My first kiss was a real one, in college too. I never had ‘play’ boyfriends in elementary school.

7th grade. I went to kiss her on the cheek, and she turned. Dunno if it was deliberate or not, but considering how quickly we progressed physically after that, I’m inclined to think that it was.

I didn’t get any action till I was 13. She was called Meredith and was 12 (and taller than me). We were in her friend’s garage, which is where we used to hang out because we were pretty much left to our own devices.

Her first words afterwards were “That’s disgusting”. Not an auspicious start to my career in seduction. Things did improve, though…

Here’s a good one: his name was Chris, he lived a block away, and it was in the cemetery across the street from my house! Seriously, we all played in the ‘graveyard’ as we called it, and that’s where we went for some “alone time.” We were in the fifth grade and I was positive I was going to marry him.

And I still know him! I wished him a happy birthday on Facebook just a week ago.

We were on the fifth grade band bus and somehow the topic of kissing came up. I was being all cool and said “Kissing’s no big deal. Friends kiss and stuff. Look, I’ll kiss Tom.” And then I kissed Tom on the lips.

Turns out that was my introduction to Debauchery On The Band Bus, which carried through the next 7 years.

Also, about 5 years later when we were in 10th grade, Tom and I became inseparable best friends and still are to this day. He’s been very happily married to “our other best friend” since we were 21. I don’t know if he even remembers that kiss!

Her name was Maria and she was my 6th grade girlfriend.

It was in the lockers after school, and it was a cheek peck, but we eventually progressed to lips. Throughout our short relationship we actually kissed a lot, even tried frenching which, knowing it now, we did WAY wrong…probably why we hated it.

She’s a lesbian now.

The young lady, we were both 13, who gave me my first bare tit went on to be our class lesbian.

I’m almost, pretty much, sorta sure there was no direct cause and effect.

Yes, he does.

Her name was Linda and she was a white haired little angel with cupid bow lips. We were 5, and I leaned over and smooched her on the cheek. Then she smooched me on the cheek in return. Then we went back to playing with bugs.

At the end of my elementary school career, there was a party at Emily’s house. At one point in the evening, she called me out on the porch, and laid my first wet and very sexy kiss on my unsuspecting mouth. Then we tried it again, and again.

Brings a smile to my lips and warmth to my heart just remembering…

I have no cute little kid kiss stories.

My first kiss was my first year in college, during a game of Truth or Dare, when I was drunk. Also, it was with a girl.

Apparently I learned from a pro, though, because every other guy I made out with after that said I was a good kisser.

I’m sayin that too.

Susan. She would come over to our house and I’d go inside and get two cookies, one for her and one for me, and put my arm around her and we’d sit on the steps and eat our cookies. And kissies. Also played in the sandbox.

Nursery school rather than elementary school.
