Your fix-it priority: what needs fixing most at your house?

I need to replace the cold-water faucet handle on my kitchen sink.

It turned out mixed. One of the loose paving stones is fixed, the other isn’t. I couldn’t get the one that I couldn’t fix all the way up off the ground (still too well secured, or maybe just too heavy), so I just tried getting the glue under the corner that comes up. That wasn’t enough. But I did get the loose paving stone that is in the higher-traffic area fixed.

Mr. Neville is out of town till late Saturday. I didn’t tell him I was fixing the loose paving stone (in case it didn’t work, I didn’t want him to be disappointed). Maybe I will wait and see how long it takes for him to notice that the loose paving stone is fixed. I’ll see how long it takes him to notice the new solar lights and the absence of the old ones, too.

the structure would be first, there are floor joists that need replacing; as well as brick crumbling.

then the rest of the engineering, plumbing, elec, hvac.

then windows and doors.

my house is a construction company special. once i get a spare 150-200 thousand, i’ll get started on it.

right now, all i can do is tape the kitchen ceiling so koritsa the klimber doesn’t knock the drop ceiling tiles so she can climb in it. (ceiling cat!!) and take down the rails for a dropped ceiling and get the icky old fake paneling out of the big bedroom.
