I like different kinds of music- angry music, heartbroken music, lovesong music, etc.

Then there’s fun music, one of my favorite categories over all. Fun music is funny, it makes you dance, and it is the supreme source of all musical fun.

Some of my favorite fun songs are Queen’s “Fat-Bottomed Girls” and “Somebody to Love”, Salt-n-Pepa’s “Shoop” and “Whatta Man”, The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil”, and several songs by Sublime. Other masters of the fun genre: Prince, Barry White, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and Weezer.
