I checked out your web page but didn’t see one. I’ve never seen a wolf hybrid and would love to see him. He sounds like one hell of a friend/pet/companion.
No crappy day, not matter how odious, can compete with this outstanding news. I know that somehow, Zen will feel all of our good thougts, and that will be making me smile all day.
Love to Zen and Zenster! Here’s hoping for a rapid recovery (and lots of future play time!!!).

Oh, I’m so happy he’s going to be okay! If it were my baby, I’d have been devastated, as I’m sure you have been. But that’s awesome that he’s home and doing well!
Zen is laying at my feet. The IV tube is out, the oxygen tube is out and the head-cone is off (I call it an inverted sombrero). His blood oxygen is up to almost 94%. He’s got an almost clean bill of health. All of the hospital staff fell in love with this little guy and the veterinarian who discharged him was frankly amazed at Zen’s rate of recovery.
As per the observations posted here, Zen’s hybrid genetic make-up definitely was a contributing factor in his speedy recovery. I’ve always liked mutts, and now I know why.
To all of you; thank you so much for your kindness and support. When darkness was all around, the light that you all shed into Zen’s and my own life really made a difference. For that I am truly grateful.

Congratulations, Zenster, I’m really happy Zen’s doing so well. You’ve had to go through a lot of crap the past few weeks; I hope you are able to enjoy a whole lot of boring normalcy for a change.

For those of you who asked, here’s a photo of Zen. All of you can now see just why this little guy has wriggled into my heart. He also acts every bit as cute as he looks. It’s truly disgusting at times.
Pal, you know me and dogs and how I like them better than people, so you might have an idea of how relieved I am. And, as it’s getting to be D-Con season, how extra-careful I’ll be.

OK, now I’ve spent five minutes going “Awwww…” there’s not much else to say. He is awful cute.
I just found this thread. My heart stopped as I scrolled through the thread, hoping to see good news. I am SO glad that this dear dog is going to be OK! Pets are such a blessing in our lives.

Not a dog gal myself, but have lost too many beloved pets…, as have all of us, i’m sure.
My heartfelt wishes for your dog and a speedy recovery. I only have a cat, and I know it’s going to be difficult when it’s his time to go. But dogs are much better companions, and I sincerely hope you don’t lose him to an accident like this…

Zen is in perfect health and up to no good as usual. He won the hearts of every vet and assistant that worked on him. You already know the place he has in my heart. I can only hope that all of you know that there is a spot in my heart for each of you as well.
