(Note this thread was started 10 years ago, so hopefully the OP is healed by now.)
For me, liquid stuff works fine for a cut that won’t be rubbing against clothes or anything else. Otherwise it comes right off. That’s a pretty limited use profile, so I usually stick with regular bandages.
I like using it on my hands, particularly on the fingers, where I can wash my hands without having to go through a band-aid change every single time.
It still ends up peeling off fairly fast, but stays on at least a day, so I tend to re-do it nightly. Usually after a few days of that, the cuts no longer need bandaging anyway, so I just let it peel off on its own.
